Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to ensuring that the Monroe County Museum System not only remains viable, but thrives well into the 21st century and beyond. 

10 years ago, the Monroe County Historical Museum was slated to be shuttered forever. Funding had dried up and County Commisioners were forced to put the Museum's fate to the will of the voters. You gave us a chance. We didn't just survive. We thrived.
